Kalsoni started with a simple observation: most business management software is built for the US or Europe first, then bolted onto everywhere else as an afterthought. Currencies, mobile payments, VAT rules, and the day-to-day reality of running an SME in Kenya and across Africa were rarely the starting point.

We built Kalsoni the other way around — starting with what African SMEs actually need: M-Pesa built in from day one, pricing that makes sense locally, and a platform that covers inventory, sales, finance, and customer relationships in one place instead of five disconnected tools.

Where we are today
